ARTHUR TOWNSHIP, on behalf of Arthur Township and Kanabec County, is requesting proposals for gravel for township and county roads for the year 2026. The deadline to submit RFPs is January 23, 2026. Proposals must be submitted on Arthur Township’s form. The form can be downloaded from our website, www.arthurtownship.com, under the Forms tab, or call the town clerk at 320-679-1347. RFPs will be opened at the Arthur Town Board Meeting on January 26, 2026, which begins at 5:00 pm, and is held at the Arthur Town Hall, 1899 Frontage Road, Mora, MN 55051. Please include your price for both magnesium chloride and calcium chloride. CHANGE OF MEETING DATES & SPECIAL MEETING DATES ARTHUR TOWNSHIP Arthur Township will change its regular scheduled meeting from Monday, May 26, 2025 (Memorial Day) to Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM. 2025/2026 Special Meeting Dates: AWAIR Safety Meeting – September 15, 2025 at 5:00PM Road Managers Meeting – January 28, 2026 at 5PM Audit/Budget Meeting- February 17, 2026 at 5:00PM Reorganization Meeting- March 23, 2026 following regular board meeting. Road Review- May 23, 2025 beginning at 8:00AM Ashley Martin, Clerk Arthur Township NOTICE OF ELECTION OF TOWN OFFICERS AND ANNUAL MEETING Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Kanabec County, State of Minnesota, that the annual election of town officers and annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March (announcement can be heard on WCMP and KBEK if postponed.) The annual meeting and election will be held respectively at each town hall unless noted otherwise. The location of each town election site and polling hours are listed below. The annual meeting will commence following the closing of the polls to conduct all business necessary to come before the public as prescribed by law. Name of Township and Location: 2. Election judges are needed all throughout the State!
Election judges are temporary, paid employees of local election officials trained to handle all aspects of voting at the polling place. Serving as an election judge is a chance to learn about elections and is a great service to the community.
Judges must attend the required Election Judge Training, occurring sometime in July of 2024, followed by the Primary Election August 13, 2024 and Election Day November 5, 2024.
