PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT ELECTRONICS, MATTRESSES, VACUUMS, OFFICE EQUIPMENT, PAINT, OR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ETC! PLEASE SPEAK WITH OR VISIT EAST CENTRAL SOLID WASTE FOR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TYPES OF ITEMS. WE ONLY ACCEPT WHAT IS LISTED BELOW.

RECYCLING CENTER WILL BE CLOSED THE FOLLOWING DATES:

January 1, 2025 (New Years)
July 4, 2025 (Independence Day)
November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day)
December 25, 2025 (Christmas Day)
January 1, 2026 (New Years Day)

THESE ITEMS CAN BE MIXED TOGETHER
TIN CANS                                  Empty, clean, no rust, labels removed.
PLASTIC BOTTLES & JUGS          Remove caps, rinse, drain & flatten all bottles & jugs.  All plastic must have a 1, 2 or 5 in
                                                the triangle to be accepted.

THESE ITEMS CAN BE MIXED TOGETHER

BOTTLES & GLASS                     Can be green, brown, blue or clear.
JARS WITH NECKS                     No drinking glasses, dishware, window glass or light bulbs.

All newspaper & inserts
All glossy paper, including flyers
Miscellaneous mail with both plain and glossy paper, remove plastic coverings
With large back binding (hard covers removed)

WHITE OFFICE PAPER

SHREDDED PAPER
FLORESCENT BULBS

Must be empty & clean
White Copier paper, plain paper, envelopes, white envelopes with windows are accepted. No glossy paper. White paper can have printing.
Must be bagged and kept separate
Any size UNBROKEN.  We will not accept any container with a broken bulb in it.

Corrugated ONLY. Not bigger then 2 X 4 ft. and clean. BOXES MUST BE FLATTENED
Pop, food & cereal boxes.  BOXES MUST BE FLATTENED
Nickel Cadmium (NI-CAD) , Nickel Metal Hydride.
(NI-MH), Lithium Ion (LI-ION), Small Seal lead, Lithium. All rechargeable batteries will have the Recycle logo. No Alkaline batteries. Button Batteries are accepted.
